February 23rd

It's hot, it's cold, it's warm, it's cool, it's raining, it's sunny. We just can't keep up with the weather! We do go outside every chance that we get, so please try to take a glance in the morning and make sure students are dressing accordingly.

Reading – We are beginning our group research projects on the Iditarod Dog Sled Race

Writing – We will be working on the first of 2 essays about the Iditarod.

If you allow your students to go online they can access www.iditarod.com to learn more and see some pics as the race prepares to start.

Math- We are almost through unit 6! It's been full of division and angles. The end of unit assessment is next Friday.

Science- We are starting to discuss adaptations and how plants and animals survive through behaviors and physical adaptations.

Read Across America is next week. The students can participate with dressing up each day according to the following:
